keeping your soul healthy

I'd love to be in contact with you as soon as you start to feel you might be in labor.

Click here to go to the page all about Birth.

My goal is to make sure everyone has a good experience. Every partnership is unique, and during our prenatals together we'll figure out the best way to work together.

Most hospitals are now accepting two support people, but on the off chance a hospital changes protocol we will switch to virtual support.

During our prenatals we'll prepare for that possible outcome.

Have questions?

A doula provides emotional, physical and educational support to a birthing person and their support person during pregnancy, throughout birth and the postpartum period.

I work for you mama, my attention does not shift to baby during your labor. You are my top priority!

Since, I am also a Registered Dietitian so I get to help my clients with their nutrition too. Yeah, my job is pretty cool!

What is a doula?

As your doula I have a non-medical support person role. I focus on caring for you emotionally and physically, and help you to feel informed and empowered.

A midwife is a medical professional, meaning that the primary focus of their care is on the health and safety of you and your baby. At a birth a midwives top priorities include: ensuring that you and baby's vital signs are stable, assessing you and your baby, completing cervical exams when needed, administering medication if necessary, and catching the baby you are birthing.

Both doulas and midwives work with you prenatally, support you throughout the birth and follow up with you postpartum.

What's the difference between a doula and a midwife?

My goal is to make sure everyone has a good experience. Every partnership is unique, and during our prenatals together we'll figure out the best way to work together.

How do you work with partners?

The earlier the better. I love to start working with my mamas at least by the second trimester. That gives us ample to to work on nourishing mama and baby.

When should I hire a doula?

Most hospitals are now accepting two support people, but on the off chance a hospital changes protocol we will switch to virtual support.

During our prenatals we'll prepare for that possible outcome.

How does COVID affect you attending my birth?

Definitely! I support all types of birth. While you may not need much physical support during your labor, there are emotional and informational ways I can support you and your growing family.

Will a doula be helpful if I use medication or have a cesarean birth?

For sure! A 25% deposit is required to book my services and hold your due date in my calendar.

The remaining balance is split between monthly payments, with payment in full required before your due date.

Do you accept payment plans?
